Cash-flow forecast template

A 12-month cash-flow forecast that shows when money really comes in and goes out, including BAS and super, and warns you before cash gets tight.

An Excel forecast laid out by month from July to June. Enter receipts and payments (including GST) in the month the cash moves. It rolls each closing balance into the next month, totals the year, finds your lowest balance and highlights any month that drops below the cash buffer you choose. The example shows quarterly BAS payments and super paid alongside wages.

Format: XLSX · Version 1.0 · Updated 2026-11-06

How to use it

Use it monthly to spot shortfalls early, plan large purchases, and show a lender how you will meet repayments. Roll it forward each month so you always see a year ahead.
