How it works
Line total = Quantity × Unit price. Discount = Subtotal × Discount %. GST = 10% of the discounted total of lines marked as taxable (only if you are registered for GST). Total = Subtotal − Discount + GST. Amounts are rounded to the cent.
Assumptions
- Prices are entered excluding GST.
- The ABN check uses the ATO check-digit rule; it confirms the number is well formed, not that it is active.
Limitations
- A quote is not a tax invoice. Check GST treatment of special items (for example GST-free food or exports) with your accountant.
- Quotes are stored in this browser only. Save a PDF copy for your records.
