Project planner

Plan tasks, owners, dependencies and dates, with a timeline you can print or export.

List the tasks, who owns each one, how long it takes and what it depends on. The planner works out the dates (skipping weekends), shows a timeline and lets you track status. Export to a spreadsheet or print it. Saved in this browser only.

You will need

  • A start date
  • The tasks, owners and rough durations in working days

How it works

Each task starts on its own start date (or the project start), after the task it depends on finishes, and on a working day. End date = start + duration − 1 working days. A duration of 0 makes a milestone. The project end is the latest task end.

Assumptions

  • Working days are Monday to Friday.
  • Each task depends on at most one other task.

Limitations

  • Public holidays and leave are not excluded; add buffer for them.
  • Plans are stored in this browser only. Export a copy to keep or share.
